Katherine Karstetter graduated from the University of San Francisco with her degree in Psychology in 2005 and went on to graduate from Gonzaga University School of Law, Cum Laude in 2012. Before going to law school, she worked as a paralegal in the Arapahoe County Attorney’s Office for five years focusing on juvenile law and mental health. During law school, Ms. Karstetter participated in the CASA program in Spokane, Washington, and was a chair of the Juvenile Law Club.
Upon graduating from Law School in 2012, Ms. Karstetter moved back home and she has dedicated her career to serving Colorado families. Instead of going back to work for the state, Ms. Karstetter decided her skills would be better utilized on the other side of the aisle. She has represented children as a Guardian ad Litem, parents as Respondent Parent Counsel, and grandparents or other family members as Intervenors in Dependency and Neglect actions. Ms. Karstetter has also worked helping clients through contentious divorces, child custody issues, and child support.
Ms. Karstetter truly believes in helping families, making sure their rights are protected, and that children are our priority. She is committed to her clients when they need a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, a skilled mediator, and when needed, a bulldog to fight for them. With 16 years combined experience in Juvenile Law, working on all sides of these cases, Ms. Karstetter brings knowledge and passion to every case.
