I am a 2012 graduate of the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law and a 2007 graduate of Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania. I chose CUNY Law due to its long-standing emphasis on training public interest attorneys and its focus on experimental learning and clinical practices. At CUNY, I was a part of the Family and Child Advocacy Clinic, and interned with New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services, Safe Horizon Domestic Violence Law Project and Day One New York, a non-profit aimed at assisting teenage domestic violence survivors and their children.
Upon moving to Colorado in 2013 from Philadelphia, I have continued my commitment to child welfare and juvenile law as a Guardian ad litem for children and counsel for respondent parents in Dependency and Neglect matters in the Denver metro area. I also represent foster parents, grandparents and relatives seeking to intervene in dependency and neglect actions. In addition, I represent families seeking kinship adoptions, custodial adoptions and step-parent adoptions.
I find great reward in bringing my knowledge, passion and skills to assist families in navigating a very difficult time in their life. I know when issues arise in families it can be complicated and trying and I am here to listen, provide advice and work with clients to find the best result possible. I will always bring commitment, dedication, and warmth to all aspects of my practice.
I joined the firm in 2019 and continue to practice in these areas. I am a member of the Juvenile Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association and thoroughly enjoy this area of law.
I will always bring commitment, dedication, and warmth to all aspects of my practice.
