Jennifer Collity is dedicated to helping individuals and families in the Denver area through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Whether that means advocating for parents seeking to keep their families intact or ensuring the best possible outcome in a criminal or juvenile case, Jennifer works tirelessly on her client’s behalf.
Prior to joining Timlin & Rye, P.C., Jennifer spent 11 years as a criminal prosecutor where she participated in countless bench and jury trials, hearings, and attorney negotiations. Earlier in her career, Jennifer’s passion for advocacy was developed as a jail counselor where she counseled inmates on a wide variety of personal problems. She also worked as a Victim’s Advocate, assisting victims of domestic violence through the steps of prosecution.
These experiences give Jennifer the ability to offer a unique perspective to people accused of a crime and those that find themselves involved in the dependency and neglect system. Jennifer is able to evaluate a case, anticipate opposing strategies, and apply her knowledge of courtroom dynamics to obtain a favorable outcome.
The one thing that Jennifer has learned from her years of passion is that every individual deserves the best representation and an attorney that will walk every step with them until the issues are resolved. Her commitment to the success of her clients is paramount to her representation.
Jennifer has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Counseling from Ball State University in Indiana. She obtained her law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Indiana and Texas.
