Jeffrey has always been drawn to the law and how it can have an impact on shaping our society. He loves being able to assist people in finding resolutions to their complicated and seemly overwhelming situations. Being a lawyer allows him to look at the world in a different way.

Melissa J. Rye

Partner

Having worked for a number of years as a paralegal in complex commercial litigation prior to law school, Melissa began her career as a practicing attorney returning to complex commercial litigation, insurance defense, and employment law.  She is licensed in both Colorado and Texas.

Katherine Karstetter

Senior Associate Attorney

Katherine Karstetter graduated from the University of San Francisco with her degree in Psychology in 2005 and went on to graduate from Gonzaga University School of Law, Cum Laude in 2012. Before going to law school, she worked as a paralegal in the Arapahoe County Attorney’s Office for five years focusing on juvenile law and mental health.

Sydnie Teague

Associate Attorney

Sydnie Teague graduated Cum Laude from Oregon State University in 2015 with degrees in Political Science, History, and International Relations.  Following graduation, she returned home to Colorado and attended the University of Colorado Law School, graduating in 2019.

Kaitlin Barrett

Licensed Legal Paraprofessional

Kaitlin Barrett graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) with her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2017, obtained her legal assistant/paralegal certificate in 2023, and passed the Licensed Legal Paraprofessional exam in 2024.
